Greetings fellow contesters.
This is a reminder that the NA SSB Sprint is NOT this weekend as you may have
read in QST and other contest calendars.
The next NA SSB Sprint is:
APRIL 3, 2016 0000-0400Z (locally Saturday evening April 2, 2016).
We had originally planned on this coming weekend, but later it was discovered
that the NCJ RTTY Sprint was planning to occur on this same weekend. We did
not want to interfere with the other Sprint events and so decided to move the
NA SSB Sprint to a different weekend. Unfortunately, many publications already
had our original date/time in print.
Since it is difficult to reach everyone, to help spread the word about this
change, please consider sharing this information with your local or regional
contest club mailing list as well. Perhaps this would also be an opportunity
to inform them and encourage additional participants.
Finally, check out the results of the past two events on the SSB Sprint
website, http://ssbsprint.com And if you plan on operating in the April 3rd
event, please let us know by filling out information on the “Planned Activity /
Submit Your Plans” tab. We want to make sure that all states and Canadian
multipliers will be QRV again this time.
