Penalty assessments are not loss of other properly recorded QSOs. The

simply a rule, in some contests, to reward accuracy a bit more.
How do you, or the contest sponsor, know whether an incorrectly logged QSO
is due to a typing error or a copying error?
Even if that were feasible, why is a typing error more accurate than a
copying error?
