If there is an N1MM+ bug, please explain why it has not been reported on the N1MM+ yahoo reflector, nor has an N1MM+ bug report been opened ?

Hi there!

Yes it is a N1MM bug and you can not upload the log as the QTC number reads /10
   instead of 23/10 for example.

I told the guys to fill all missing QTC numbers with 999/10 to get the log
through upload, but you will have one point "loss" due to the wrong QTC number.
I.e. still getting 9 points instead of 10 if the rest is correct.

Even that it IS a bug, i still find exchanging QSO data via email is not a good
idea.

Hi Doug,

Yes, I received one from a western EU'n on Monday.

I told him that in good faith I just could not supply him with those #'s. I
know I probably just lost 10 QTC's and maybe

the original QSO with him, but that's the game. I am not about to send
someone data after the fact in any contest.

After the race is run, it's run, whether your computer dies, the program
glitches, or whatever.

At 0000z, you're done.-right?

I did point him towards the very excellent N1MM Yahoo users group telling
him that

presumably, if his adif file (not his Cabrillo) was still intact, someone
there would likely be able to restore

his log. I also have had one or two small quirks with the WAE upload in the
past, so perhaps

it's not totally his log at fault - who knows.

His story was *exactly* as you describe, however I have seen ZERO messages
on that FB N1MM+ users

group from anyone asking for help.

I feel his pain, 'cuz last year I left dozens of QTC's unsent..not because I
didn't/couldn't find a QTC

partner, but it was something in the way I was logging (my own fault) which
incorrectly counted the QTC's

and in some cases I could not send the "balance" of QTC's to previous
partners.

It was a tough pill for me to swallow.

I am not sure what to make of it, but would the person(s) not reach out to
the N1MM users group first,

rather than asking by email for "fills"????....It makes me wonder.

I have received several emails in the past two days from European

stations asking for the number of the QTC groups I sent them. All are

claiming it is a bug in N1MM+ generating a Cabrillo file missing the

QTC group number.

I am not sure if this is a real bug, or if the stations just did not

copy my QTC group number and are asking for a post-contest fill as if

they had not copied my serial number or something.

I generally refuse to supply missing exchange information until after

the log deadline. However, if this is a program bug, I am willing to

help these guys.

Is anyone else getting these same requests?

Any N1MM+ European users having this problem? I am not an N1MM user

and do not subscribe to their reflectors.
