I know I'm over reacting/exaggerating, and that the contest rules can
always make this idea 'legal', but is it really a good idea?
My understanding is that law enforcement agents will always have a
warrant, and that normally they won't 'pounce' before sunset and after
sundown. Will these 'few respected and well-trusted observes' (everyone
else is a crook, it seems) respect/follow any criteria on approach? What
about Florida's 'stand your ground' law?
All for the sake of discussion, of course, but let's not forget this is
a hobby. There must be other ways to clean up contests, rather than
creating the ham version of bounty hunters.
