People have a lot of trouble distinguishing a "6" from a "B". It happens
with my call all the time: AB1J becomes A61J.

It's not just a matter of CW speed, as I seldom send over 25 wpm. The fog
of contesting also contributes.

Folks are overly credulous about spots and don't consider the propagation
likelihood of a spot making sense.

Some of it is wishful thinking. In general, which would you rather work?

AB1J or A61J
6Y2T or BY2T

Or, so now that's a problem!

How QRS should it be, Scott? Any hints? I guess I should've QRS'ed only
"6", right? Seems no big problem with other letters.

And how would that prevent people from sending (***) spots?
Would appreciate your expert advice.
