Agreed Steve,

My first SO2R setup was a FT101E to a 4 element 15M yagi and a TS820S to a tenM
Yagi on the same tower - no one told me I shouldn't do it :-)

Voice keyer was a cassette loop hooked up to the Phone input and yes I had fun
as a novice

Cheers

You have actually described my first SO2R station. Two radios, no amplifiers, a
tribander on the roof, and a trap vertical on the back fence. No filters. No
fancy audio switching - just a toggle switch. Good for 60-100 extra QSO's and a
top-5 slot in CW Sweepstakes.
