It was with great sadness that I got a message from Lisandro P43L telling
me Emily - P43E died after suffering a stroke.
Words are not enough to talk about Emily, who always helped me when I
operated from Aruba as P40E
I enjoy thinking that whenever I hear DIT DIT in a contest, Emily is
smiling in the sky.
There is story behind the dit dit that everybody is using now instead of TU
at the end of a contest QSO.
It was not common to use dit dit in contests as a replacement for TU until
I did it for the first time from EA8ZS in 2004.

PS: Ohhh, a lot of people asked why ?EE? - ?dit dit? at the end of every QSO.
Apart from the fact it works and saves time compare with ?TU? - ?Dah, dih dih
Dah?, it was sort of a farewell to the E in my P40E call sign, and the E of my
friend Emily's callsign P43E, as I move to CT3 for future contests.
