Well, you are right, and that's will not change in the future.
Russian DX Contest have the same "self-spot" allowed now.
Maybe, this is a good solution to have more people involved
in radiocontesting, but I will be uncomfortable forever with
PY2NY (me!!) making self-spot.
Slowly, I'll be part of that mass (important, of course) of
participants making their 200, 500 contacts, just to find old
friends, remember good times, and nothing more.
Always good to know you're active in the art of writing,
dear Jim. 73 DX.
And for all other guys, now you can spot me frequently! ah ah ah
