I am not sure there is a one size fits all answer here.
I am currently using a curved super wide screen and then a 32 inch
curved above it to the left. I could put another 32 inch curved above
and to the right if needed.
What do you need to display?
For text or spots many monitors can be mounted so the long edges are
vertical. Most video cards can display this way.
The wide screens can be split up into smaller screens too.
The goal is to not have to strain when contesting logging. Make sure
the main screen is in a position where you are not having to look up or
down much. Minimize the head movements and strain.
Not monitor related but many people are moving to a standing desk. My
son works all day long standing up. That might not work for an entire
contest but it might be better than butt in the chair for 48 straight.
Good luck!

Now that monitors are relatively inexpensive, whats the current
thoughts on one larger monitors vs two or more smaller ones?
Also, any thoughts on shelf height to set the monitors one? I am
redoing my current setup , which has 2 small monitors on the desk, the
radios on the left and a taller shelf for accessories, switches, amp
etc above the monitors. I'm thinking of putting a small shelf up
above the radios, etc, to set the monitors on instead, and wondering
about the height.
