Because it makes sense (to someone) to let folks get sun burned, mosquito
bitten and come close to death due to dehydration. Other than that be
thankful you don't live in Texas cuz then you would have to contend with
humidity.
Have a miserable day and try to enjoy your Field Day. Perhaps some Miller
Lites would help.

For most of the US, it's uncomfortably hot on FD, not only this year, but
almost every year. Why not move it to April or May, or even the same
weekend as European FD?
