I do get a similar problem of "ticking" which actually keys the rig.
This problem only occurs with the TS-690S that's on loan to me.
I have a TS-940 which does not have any problem using the DVP.
My MC-85 Microphone is compatible with both rigs but something strange
happens when I use the TS-690.
I'd be interested in hearing about any similar problems/solutions.
