The announcement window toggles with ALT-A, not CTRL-A. Could that have been
the problem?

Another possibility is that you were looking at a Mults Needed view of the
Announce Window. In SS CT cannot determine the section of a station from the
packet announcement, so only QSO's Needed views have any data.

I just finished running the SS CW and could not get any packet alert to come
up in the announcement (CTRL-A) window. I was connected (as I was getting
the alerts) to the packet cluster.

Is this a bug. Worked fine in CQWW.
