I'm slowly making progress on COM port problems. Now that I have several
ports working, I have one that does radio control fine (with an FT990), and
one that acts really sluggish and eventually quits controlling, showing Radio
timeout on the screen. I notice using this port, the CAT light on the radio
also blinks much slower than on a working port. It's obviously a problem with
the COM port, since everything else remains unchanged. What do these symptoms
tell me the problem is?
