Gentlemen,
Sorry for the confusion. I agree: my W9XT card works well with CT9.58, but
versions beyond that including the latest DOS version 10 are broke. My comment
was about some hum problems we had using K1EA's DVP. This in fact was related
to the cable (not the card) but we never were able to resolve it. By contrast,
I never had any hum problems with the W9XT card. My point: the W9XT card is
simple, it works great, and wouldn't it be nice if it ran in the later DOS
versions of CT.
73's,

Is this a request to fix a hum problem, or the fact that W9XT card does not
work in CT Version 10.xx?
I decided to run two batch files. If it's a SSB contest, I use an older
version of CT, in which the W9XT card works fine, and if CW, then I use the
newer version.
I am tempted to stick with the older version, because the enhancements are
not all that important to me.
My 2 cents.

I never had hum problems with the 10 DVP boards we used.

They sounded great on the Icom 781/765/7800

is any interest or progress in fixing the W9XT DVP card bug? This has been
broken since CT 9.58, and is still broken in the latest DOS version of CT10.
I hate to give the card up since it is easy to reprogram on the fly, and in
contrast to the K1EA DVP board, is hum free.
