After many years living in the big city, I've come to the
conclusion that I need to put in a home alarm system.
I know nothing about alarms, other than that some friends have
had RFI troubles with their installations. My station is
modest, but consists of a small yagi (F12 C3-SS) on a roof
quadpod and a couple of wires for the low bands. I have on
occasion run a KW...but only rarely.
The house is an old one, and I was wondering about both the
effectiveness and RFI-proof capabilities of a wireless system.
Any thoughts or pointers to information on alarm systems, RFI
proofing, et al, is appreciated!!
Thanks & 73,
