Folks,

Haven't read the article yet...I subscribe to WSJ online,
but spent most of ystdy debugging a WLAN problem.

As it happens, a senior editor at the Journal is a friend.
I stayed with him in Princeton, last week, during a business trip.

Soon as I read the article, I'll see what we can do to rebalance
the scales. I'm fresh from the DC area AMSAT meeting, where one
of the papers concerned a 5GHz satellite comm's system...one of
the few, if not only, mechanisms we might have to protect that
band from being snatched by WiFi interests.

This one differs from 2.4GHz, incidentally, in that the UPLINK is
in the 5 gig WiFi band, so the noise floor won't kill us...but our
TX's may cause the WLAN's some pain.

I'm thinking perhaps a WSJ article on AMSAT and AMSAT's planning
for next generation satellites, and search for launches might be
a good color story.
