Hi Fellas,

I took a drive through Manassas, VA this week. Located the BPL installation. Had the mobile HF rig in the truck, tuned all HF bands, parked underneather several of the BPL attachments and heard nothing, not even power line noise???? I figured during Spring Break there would be plenty of kids on the Internet.

Manassas was wired to serve 20,000 customers as best I can tell. That's a lot of network. If anyone knows if areas where there is an RFI issue in Mansassas please let me know I'll go there and perform another survey.

A good source of BPL information is the RSGB (Radio Society of Great Britain) website:

In addition, there's a good background article on BPL (or PLT, as they call it) in this month's RadCom.
