So I just purchased a shiny new Icom 208H transceiver. The instruction manual has the same "This device complies with..." message on it. How come a 2M/70 CM rig "may not cause harmful interference" and "must accept any interference"? Part 15, Section 19 seems to require this labelling, but does not explain (for me) what it means to a ham. We can't interfere with other services, fair enough, but what kind of interference do we have to accept? 73, Martin AA6E - martin.ewing@gmail.com http://blog.aa6e.net _______________________________________________ RFI mailing list RFI@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rfi |
