Yeah, 1996 data. From reading it, the Euros appear to have been ahead
of the curve in the CFL market given that the cheap no-name stuff
didn't show up here until the last 3-4 years.
One of their main conclusions: "Cheaper and poorer quality lamps are
bad for the reputation
of all CFLs."
We've certainly seen similar, albeit anecdotal, results posted here!
