I tracked down a very noisy grow light in Holland, MI. I could zero in
on the house from their driveway. At the time I found the house, the
home owner was in his garage, door open, working. He saw me and came out.
I politely asked him if he was growing "tomatoes" in the basement". He
cautiously said yes. I explained that he was wiping out radio
communications 4 blocks away, and if I could find him, so could others.
Including the feds. He smiled, and said I'll take care of it. He did.
I never went into his house, I had another, taller, bigger and yet
gentle acting amateur with me.
And I never told the amateur who was receiving the interference what
house it was.
Every case is different.
