No word from Solar City regarding the Solar Panel RFI interference case
I filed with them on August 8th of this year. I've been in touch with
their representatives periodically who say that they are still looking
into the matter. The last contact was a month ago and the case is now 3
months old.
I provided Solar City with Tony-Brock Fisher's QST article on how to
suppress solar panel RFI and also put them in touch with experts in the
field. The most offensive noise comes on when the solar panels are lit
by the Sun which is most likely caused by the solar panel Optimizers as
described in Tony's article.
At this point, I'm not sure if it pays to file a complaint with the FCC
or let the situation play out.
