Thanks Chen for your observations. As usual very thoughtful. A question however: Doesn't a reply of 123 123-123 create a USOS problem regarding the space between the two strings? Perhaps I mean unshifting and reshifting to add additional length to the transmission. I can't decide if USOS is more of a problem than a solution on two points. First, the general lack of understanding of how it works, and secondly, the usual incompatibility between USOS and non-USOS. On the otherhand using a mouse to 'select' screen data is confusing and compounded by those pesky dashes. Is there a solution to these two positions? A puzzle-ment eh? 73 de Phil - N8PS _______________________________________________ RTTY mailing list RTTY@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rtty |
