The question of dashes or no dashes in an exchange has been debated endlessly for years and years. Here's how to settle it for yourself: Do two contests, one with the dash like this: 599-123-123 and one without, like this: 599 123 123 And see which style causes more requests for a repeat. My experience, and that of many others, is that the style with spaces only will get through the QRM and QRN better and things will go faster. Try it in a real contest and see. 73, Bill W6WRT _______________________________________________ RTTY mailing list RTTY@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rtty |
