I didn't see that one but I had many stations calling me with no shift, just a 
steady mark tone.  Normally I'll see this once or twice but it seemed to happen 
at least 15 different times.  I just sent "STATION CALLING YOU ARE SENDING ONLY 
A STEADY CARRIER NO SHIFT".   Some kept calling and some hopefully went off to 
figure out why their FSK keying circuit wasn't working.

I believe it's important this gets checked BEFORE the contest. hi

I came across a funny signal during the Roundup.  It was another S&P station, 
and it didn't hang around for long enough for me to get a fix.  The FSK shift 
appeared to be very narrow, more like 50 Hz than 170 Hz.

So, if you'd S&P without getting too many replies, check your shift.  (Omni V 
and VI were notorious for producing way off frequency shifts when operated in 
FSK -- their shifts were controlled by a trimmer capacitor.)
