Forgive me if this is an obvious setup problem on my part, since this is
the first time I've used SD (DOS). I had the following difficulty in the ARRL 10 meter contest: when I worked a KL7 (I'm in the USA), the program treated it as DX (it needed a serial number). However, it then did NOT count it as a multiplier. When I worked a KP4 (Puerto Rico), I had what seemed to be the same problem. This time I tried adding KP4 to the list of sections by replying Yes when asked. After doing this, the program refused to log the QSO, even though KP4 appeared in the list. I finally logged this one by removing the QSO and re-entering it with a serial number. This time, it DID give me a multiplier! The only other funny thing I noticed was that sometimes the generated CW would slow down for a second or two. I suppose this has something to do with the CPU being used by some other process (I was running SD-DOS in a window under Windows 98).
