The EU CW Sprint takes place from 15:00 UTC to 18:59 UTC
on Saturday 9th October. Full rules at www.qsl.net/eusprint

SD directly supports this event. V11.03 is freeware from
www.ei5di.com, and it runs on any Windows PC.

Select SD Type 12 - EU Sprint
Mode : CW
Points per QSO : 1
Name : your name - as given in each QSO

Send and receive Serial and Name, on 20, 40 and 80m.
Pilot frequencies are 14.040, 7.025, 3.550. European
entrants can work everybody. Others work Europeans only.

The format of the exchange differs depending on whether
you're being called or you are calling another station.

If you are the called station (you must QSY after the
current QSO)

Set the F2 memory (with Shift-F2) to #C #R #S NAME#E
where #C expands to the call being worked
      #R expands to your call
      #S expand to Serial
NAME - substitute the name you're using
      #E is a simulated Enter.

If you are the calling station (you have the frequency
after the current QSO)

Set F3 (with Shift-F3) to #C #S NAME #R#E

You'll need to remember to hit the right key (F2 or F3),
Or you could always do it all on the paddles :-)

After the contest, use SDCHECK (Option 1) to create your
Cabrillo format .LOG file. Rename it to YOURCALL.LOG where
YOURCALL is the callsign you used during the contest, and
send it as an attached file to eusprint@kkn.net - within
15 days.

73,
Paul EI5DI
