That seems a useful change to cope for when you miscopy the area code 
the first time. It would also be useful to have an option to keep the 
original code as is (and different) - when using SDI to type up paper 
logs (which I do for Don 'XTT) you have to make sure that you enter 
the data EXACTLY as it appears on the paper log and not correct any 
errors in it! (but this could be a fairly well hidden option, for 
normal use you do want to get them consistent).
