No negatives. It works well for me. I have it next to my paddles.
Positioned that way, I can tune and send with my right hand. I operate the
rest of the radio controls with my left hand. To prevent an unintended QSY
caused by inadvertently bumping the tuning control, I push the lock button on
the radio when I am in a QSO.
