Nick,
I tried to respond directly, but got an unable-to-deliver message
saying your domain was refusing the message (guess it won't
accept personal messages during business hours...hi...

Here's my response, though....

Nick,

I don't believe Ten-Tec manufactures a general coverage ham
transceiver.

If they did, then maybe there would be more reason/need for AM.
But, in a ham band only radio??  I don't think it's needed.
