I use the Ten Tec 1251 to eliminate some RF in the shack I experience on
10 meters. It works for that purpose as it's function is to tune your
ground wire so that it becomes an effective ground for RF. Actually,
you could accomplish the same feat by simply connecting a 1/4 wave
radial wire for the troublesome band to the ground terminal on your
rig.
The unit will not improve the match bewtween your rig and your
antenna. For that you need an antenna tuner.
