I'm overwhelmed with good suggestions on how to buck the hum in this =
Astron. Maybe I should do them all.
1. I'll remove the case
2. Solder everything again
3. Loosen and tighten all screws
4. Pile some old books on it
5. Set it on some mouse pads
6. Put it on the carpet.
7. Wear ear plugs.
>From all the post, I conclude that the Astrons are poorly made but work =
