The trimmer capacitor for the processor's clock is very temperature
sensitive. Try spraying some circuit cooler on it if you doubt. This is
why TenTec installed the crystal oven. Leaving the rig connected to 12v
should warm it up even when it's turned off. There are also trimmer
capacitors which are temperature sensitive on the tx/audio board. The one
for usb may be more sensitive than the one for LSB. 

I would not be concerned about this. It seems normal.
