This isn't quite the same as a plastic car but my mobile set up is in a
motorhome, 27 foot fiberglass, Ford f/350. The coach is glass and also
the hood. The front fenders are metal and there is where I mounted the
hustler. In comparison it seems to work very well. I might add gang
both power leads are fused and power comes from the two coach bats. No
engine noise at all that I have noticed. Ed
