Hi William:

I bought a Kachina 505DSP last year for the sole purpose of remote control
operation. I can't put up any antennas at my home qth, but using the 505DSP,
I'm able to use stacked yagis and make lots of dx qso's that I otherwise could
not make.

If I could put the antennas up at my home, I would stick with a traditional
radio. The reason being the Kachina is still lacking in the contest/general
logging support, which will come in the near future.

I have a web page at http://www.tcac.net/~rthorne/index.html which shows a few
pictures of my remote set up.
