If you want a nice sounding mic for a Ten Tec ( and
this is not to say the TT mics aren't very good) then
stay away from the D-104 since they are for CBs and
not real radios and pich up a new Heil Goldline.  Its
the nicest mic I've heard for under $800.00 and it has
the standard Goldline cartridge and comes with a
choice of 
the HC-4 or HC-5 cartridge installed.  you can switch
cartridges with a switch.  They were at Dayton and the
Goldline sounds great. At $159.00 its a steal.
