To answer the questions posed by Phil & Steve, never
happened before and PS is a nice TT 961.
All of the other functions seem to be working except
main tuning. User options can be set and retained,
etc. and even RIT functions so she's not brain dead
for sure.
I looked at some of the digital lines, and would
really appreciate some help with diagnosis. Here's
what I've seen on the logic board - I started looking
at the tuning encoder lines. RIT ("OFFSET") pulses
are clearly seen coming into U19 pins 1/2/5/6 and U20
21/22. However, no pulses at all are seen from the
Main Tuning encoder coming into U18 8/9 or U20 19/20.
Am I correct in assuming pulses should be seen there?
I would be extrememly grateful for any hints on
further troubleshooting.
