My 253 tuner has begun to do some weird things? It forgets its settings on
80 metres when I'm on my open wire fed dipole. It seems quite content on
the other bands?
But it gets better. If I'm on 20 metres on my quad and then go to 80 metres
it tunes. If I then switch to the dipole in does nothing?
If I go to 40 metres on the dipole it tunes. If I go back to 80 metres --
no joy.
Is this the beginning of the end for the U8 non-volatile RAM? Or are the
symptoms more onerous?
