Something has happened to my receive setup, although I'm not aware of any
changes. My RX-320 is connected to my Force 12 C4S (tri band Yagi). Up
until recently, I was able to use this setup to listen to daytime AM
broadcast stations in Cincinnati (100+ miles) and Dayton (75+ miles) with no
problem. Today, all I hear is static. In fact, even local AM broadcasters
are coming much weaker than normal However, if I disconnect the Yagi and
insert the whip antenna that comes with the RX320, reception vastly improves
and I can receive stations that I can't hear with the Yagi.

On the SW frequencies, the Yagi seems to be working fine, and it outperforms
the whip antenna (which picks up a lot of noise from my computer). The
antenna still shows good SWR readings on the ham bands.

I know I'm not dreaming, the Yagi did used to work. Any idea what could have
happened? Could there be something fishy with the antenna connector on the
RX320?

Mark, N8ME
