Saturday evening I found the other side of the coin... Sat down to tune up
the amp, got it dipped, increased the drive on the 6+ and it's power meter
was only showing about 35 watts forward, at three quarters setting on the
drive control ( I normally run about 85 watts to the amp)... Looked over at
the 3K and it was over 2500 out! Whaaaa? ( I did remember to let up on the
paddle at that point :)
Got out the Bird and a couple of fresh slugs and went spelunking through the
system and found the 6+ was putting out 150+ watts... Obviously something
went away in the ALC... I only had about an hour to play in the Stew and
didn't want to spend it troubleshooting, so I roughed it with the backup
rig... Maybe later in the week I can get into the Omni manual...
