The only difference between the way the CORSAIR I and the CORSAIR II
handle 17 meters is that when you select the SSB-R on the Corsair II, the
CPU based counter automatically adjusts the frequency display. On the
CORSAIR I, the display is 3 KHz off.
If you have listened to an OMNI C on 17 meters, you would understand
why TEN-TEC chose to use the "difference" rather than the "sum" to come
out on 18 MHz.
