Last week I released version 1.47 of my Pegasus software.

Highlites of version 1.47 are:

  1)
Implemented a new mode called "CWR" for CW reverse.
Normal CW mode uses LSB which causes tones to increase
as the frequency is increased. CWR mode uses USB,
which causes tones to decrease when the frequency is
increased. An interesting side effect of this mode is you
can tell when you are tuned directly onto a CW signal by
swapping back and forth between CW and CWR mode. If the
pitch of the signal does not change, you are perfectly
  tuned to the signal.

  2)

RX-331/RX-340 users now have the programmable AGC available as a
fourth AGC button. Values for the programmable AGC can be set with
the three sliders in the settings window under "Prog AGC". See the
more complete write up in rx331.doc.

  3)
AM transmit is added if you upgrade the Ten-Tec flash to version 1.17.
The Output power slider doubles as an AM carrier level if in AM mode.
The "TUNE" button and "AMTN" button will also work properly for AM
transmit mode. Just remember to limit AM transmit to 25 watts. Note
that the "TUNE" button operation is very different between this program
  and Ten-Tec's program.

  4)
The RX-331/RX-340 reset button has been moved to the "Prog AGC"
  settings window.

  5)
If you transmit while sweep is running, it will now automatically
  stop the sweep.

  6)
Added automatic compensation for the RX331 TUNING DELAY when the
step size is above 100 hertz. If the step size is above 100 hertz,
50 milliseconds is automatically added to this parameter. This is
  for RX-331/RX-340 users only.

  7)
A new pegasus.ini option that allows the remote pod PTT button
to be used as a toggle has been added.
With this set to one, pushing the remote pod PTT button will cause
the pegasus to go to transmit. Releasing it will do nothing. Pressing
it again will cause transmit to stop. The default for this option is
  off.

  8)
In order to better accomidate AM transmit mode, the default step
size specified with AMSTEP is only used outside the HAM bands. In
the HAM bands, the value used is the SSBSTEP value.

  9)
The RX331 transmit delay parameter for RX-331/RX-340 users is now
on a slider in the "Prog AGC" window.

  10)
A "semi" button has been added for RX-331/RX-340 users for semi-breakin
  CW operation.

  11)
A warning message has been added when the RX-331/RX340 "reset"
button has been clicked giving the user a chance to not reset
  the RX-331/RX-340.

  12)
All the transmit buttons have been removed from the RX-331 ONLY
  version.
