Tim, I think that the Paragon is great as a shortwave receiver. I have
no complaints. It never seems to get overloaded or hear intermod (though
you will get some if you crank up the noise blanker). Maybe I should do
a side-by-side comparison with my ICOM R-71A. That would be instructive.
