I think you can buy a service manual for the FT-1000.
I have a service manual for the FT-1000.
I am sure software could be written to use a RX-340 for receive
and a Omni VI+ for transmitt. You could use the receiver in the
Omni VI+ for a second channel. The receiver in the Omni VI+ is
a lot better than my Pegasus.
