Hi Loren,
I have an Omni VI Plus with the power supply on the
right side. No problems whatsoever. When it is on the
left, there are no problems either.
My present setup has the antenna leads coming from the
left; therefore, the linear amplifier is there. Since
I want the Omni directly in front of me, I placed the
supply to the right.
In other words, put it where you want and enjoy.
