Bill, the rig comes with three IF crystal filters and you need three more
optional filters to round things out. Add to that a power supply, mic, fan,
antenna tuner, etc. and this is no longer a $3300 investment.
I would spec the filters at $130 - $150 each.
Although the Orion uses DSP IF operation, it retains conventional IF
crystal filters to "improve close-in signal rejection." Three of the six
filters are provided; the remaining three are "optional."
