Practical options:
1)
To steal it, get to the hamfest at 6AM or hang out on the
net all day. Guess one could write some code to forward likely steals to
the wireless PeeCee but that's too much like work :-)
2)
If common, offer a fair price when you see one for sale.
3)
If uncommon, the 'want to buy' approach works, but only if you
make it easy for the seller. Offer a fair price, send a packing crate
with all material, and a label along with your money. It helps to be
a good judge of character and/or obtain photos prior to sending
off the money and crate. This approach works for me.
