Al & Carl,
Thank you very much for the responses. The rig does have the 10 & 24 mhz mod,
and I'll be going back to the manual to check out the 30 mhz bandpass procedure.

It sounds like the 30m bandpass filter may be in need of realignment.
The board is on the bottom side of the rig. If you've got a manual,
it's pretty easy to locate the right coils and adjust.

Marcus,
I know this is a silly question but I have to ask it. The Original Omni D
series B di dnot have 30 meter transmit at all, only 30 meter receive.
There was a factory mod that added 30 meter transmit and 24 mhz operation in
the AUX band. Are you sure this mod is there?

Subject: [TenTec] Omni D Output Question
(Snip)
I've got great output on every band but 30 meters. 30 meters is
considerably lower than the others, about 25 watts max into a dummy
load. I read in the manual that 10mhz and 28mhz share the same tuning
circuitry. My 28mhz output is very good. Any suggestions on this? I
thought I'd ask in case this is a common issue with the Omni D.
Thanks & 73
