I think in the archives of this list you will find the 6 meter capability
question for the Scout answered in the negative.
Certainly, by the time you get to 6m, I am not sure how well the use of the
coaxial power connectors for the final LP filter would work, even if the
finals and driver might reach six.
You would need probably a multiplier stage, besides a whole plug in module
created for six. The module contains a crystal oscillator as well as the
final band filter.
The transverter is the way to go. Some have done it and reported great
results to the list driving it with Scout. I am sorry I do not recollect
which years of the archives would have the topic, but it has come up at
least once before and maybe more.
