Hi Larry,
I can not speak for all Astrons but none of mine have provisions for
remote sensing. I am aware of the Lambda power supplies. I had a 60 amp (9
~ 15 volt) one that had to weigh at least 100 pounds!
It probably would not be hard to modify the power supply for remote
sensing but this would require a lot of RF proofing because the 723
regulators do not like RF very much. I eliminate much of this problem by
using heavy wiring as much as possible. This minimizes voltage drop under
