Well put example of the Yagi beam parasitic elements re resonances! Have to
remember that counter to the usual "non resonant does not work".


It occurs to me that the near resonance of the parasitic elements in a yagi may be the only place where resonance does make an important difference. A yagi with a non resonant driven element would have gain and F/B ratio only if the parasitic elements are properly near resonance. On the other hand if the parasitics are not properly near resonance, a resonant driven element won't be any better than a nonresonant one.
